Overview
The Zoll R series defibrillator is designed to be capable, yet simple to use. It is the standard manual defibrillator within the organisation.
Introduction of the device started in July 2018 and should be complete by July 2020.
All devices start in Automated External Defibrillator (AED) mode.
The following user guides have been filmed in house to assist clinical staff. Although devices in AED mode can be used by all staff, only users with appropriate resuscitation training should use the features in the manual mode.
Users expected to use the device in manual mode will find that trust employs a universal configuration and that all R Series devices have a syncronised cardioversion and pacing capability.
