The Resuscitation Service is dedicated to raising standards of care in resuscitation through the planning, organisation, training and implementation of all aspects of resuscitation practice.

We aim to provide professional advice and support in relation to resuscitation training, techniques and equipment. We endevour to achieve this through active participation in resuscitation events as well as operating an 'open door' policy.

The department is also responsible for the supervision, review and audit of hospital resuscitation procedures as well as developing policy. Many of these aims are achieved through the provision of national resuscitation coursesand quality improvement initiatives.
